# Auxiliary verb(조동사): An auxiliary verb (abbreviated aux) is a verb that adds functional or grammatical meaning to the clause in which it occurs, so as to express tense, aspect, modality, voice, emphasis, etc.
= 조동사란, 동사와 같은 형태를 가지지만, 다른 동사와 이어져서 상, 법 등의 문법 기능을 나타내는 단어이다. Ref. Wikipedia
Buenos dias mi hermano!! 오늘은 have(가지고 있다), can(~일 수 있다.) 하나만으로는 쓰일 수 없지만 보조의 역할로 쓰일 수 있는 Auxiliary verb(조동사)에 대해 알아 볼 시간이야!!
1. Main verb와 auxiliary verb(조동사)를 사용해 하는 말. have, can, is, do, etc.
● 나는 나의 열쇠들을 잃어버려 왔어.
= I have lost my keys.
● 그녀는 그 파티로 올 수 없어.
= She can't come to the party.
● 그 호텔은 10 년들 전에 지어졌어.
= The hotel was built ten years ago.
◎ 위에서도 볼 수 있듯이 auxiliary verb(조동사)는 말 그대로 helping verb(도와주는 동사) 가 되는 거야.
2. Auxiliary Verb(조동사)를 통해 상태의 말에 반응하는 간단한 방법들!! have, am/are/is, do
● Punk: 나 단지(금방/막) Jeff 봐 왔어(= 만난 참이야).
= I've just seen Jeff.
● Matt: 오 너 그래왔니?(그랬어?) 그는 어떻니?
= Oh, have you? How is he?
● Shawn: Matt, Matt!! Jeff랑 Punk가 큰 싸움을 가지고 있어.(= 크게 싸우고 있어.)
= Matt, Matt!!! Jeff and Punk are having a big fight!!
● Matt: 걔들이 그래? 정말?
= Are they? Really?
3. So와 Neither(not + either)을 함께 사용해 말하는 auxiliary verb(조동사) | Jeff Hardy: 넌 미쳤어, 그리고 나도 마찬가지야!!!
● Mox: 나 피곤해.
= I'm tired.
● Seth: 나도 마찬가지로 그래.
= So am I.
● Edge: 나는 절대 신문들을 읽지 않아.
= I never read newspapers.
● Christian: 마찬가지로 나도 절대 하지 않아.
= Neither do I.
● Jeff hardy: 넌 니 생각보다 스스로를 더 싫어하고 있어. 왜냐하면, 너는(형은) 아파, 넌 뒤틀렸어, 넌 미쳤어! 그리고 마찬가지로 나도 그래!!!!
= You hate yourself more than you could ever know. Because you're sick, you're twisted, you're demented! And so am I!!!
