# 관사: 명사 앞에 붙어서 그 명사의 뜻에 제한을 두는 낱말이다. 영어에는 부정관사 a(an)와 정관사 the 가 있다. 처음 언급되는 단수명사에는 부정관사가 붙고, 이미 언급된 것을 나타내는 명사에는 정관사가 붙는다._ Ref. Wikipedia
오늘은 Definite article(정관사) 즉, 대상을 언급하는 말에 대해 알아보는 마지막 시간이야.
1. the를 빼고 언급하는 Names(이름들). | 특정하게 이름이 붙여진 대상들(건물, 조형물 등...)을 지칭.
◎ 특정하게 이름이 붙여진 대상들(건물, 조형물 등...)을 지칭할땐 ‘the’를 붙이지 않아. 예를 들면, Incheon Airpor, UCLA 등..은 the를 붙이지 않고~!!!
◎ 그렇지만 그 지칭하는 대상의 이름이 잘 생각이 나지 않을땐 다음과 같이 말하기도 해. "You know, the famous airport in korea... I just forgot..." 이렇게 말이야~!! 한번 전체적으로 어떤 것들이 있나 보자!

2. 'the'를 붙여 말하는 이름??? 호텔이나, 궁전같은 유명한 빌딩들엔 the를 붙여 말한대.
◎ 유명한 빌딩들 예를 들면, 호텔이나, 궁전 등은 그 이름을 말하더라도 'the' 붙여 말하기도 해. 많이 헷갈릴 수가 있지만 반대로 생각해 너무 의무적으로가 아닌 자주 말 하면서 자연스럽게 익히는 것이 좋아.

= Yeah, I got the only one in the Western Hemisphere.
● Tej: 내가 추측하기론, 저건 그 서반구 안에서 두개가 있다는걸 뜻하는데, 응?? (= 두 개 인거 같은데~???)
= I guess that means there are two in the Western Hemisphere, huh?
