Yo Jay! 오늘은 다시 등장한 John Wick 2 Reload를 보면서 in/at/on을 활용해서 대상의 위치를 시간, 공간을 넘어 어떤 사건같은 것에도 적용시킬 거야.
1. at school(학교 에) / in hospital(병원 안에) etc.
◎ 이번엔 특정한 공간이라기 보단 상식적인 선에서 이해할 수 있는 장소의 개념에도 in/at같은 Preposition(전치사)를 사용해서 말 할 수 있어. 어떤 것 들이 잇는지 먼저 예를 들어 보자.

● John은 병원 안에 있어.
= John is in hospital.
● I'll be at home until 6.
= 나 6시까지는 집에 있을 거야.
2. at a party / at a meeting etc. | Event(사건)에서 대상의 위치
● Hannah네 결혼식에 사람들 많이 있었어?
= Were there many people at Hannah's wedding?
● 나 토요일에 한 학회에서 Sue를 봤어.
= I saw Sue at a conference on Saturday.
3. 빌딩에서 언급할때 사용하는 at & in
◎ 건물같은 장소를 대상으로 in이랑 at모두 사용하지만 개념은 서로 달라. 한번 자세히 보자.
at; where an event takes place(a concert, a movie, a party etc.)
● 우린 한 뮤지컬 공연으로 갔어. 그 샤롯데 극장에. (= 우리 샤롯데 극장에 뮤지컬 보러 갔어.)
= We went to a musical at the Charlotte Theatre.
● 그 은행에서 한 강도사건이 있었어.
= There was a robbery at the bank.
in; when we're thinking about the building itself(hotel, hospital etc.)
● 그 호텔 안에 모든 그 객실들은 에어컨을 가지고 있습니다.
= All the rooms in the hotel have air conditioning.
● 네 집 안은 항상 춥답다야...
= It's always cold in your house...
Something more; on a bus, in a taxi
● 너무 많은 사람들그 그 버스 위에 있어.
= Too many people are on the bus.
● 그 타겟은 그 택시 안에 있습니다.
= The target is in the taxi.
● Joseph는 그의 바이크 위에서 날 지나쳤어.
= Joseph passed me on his bike.
4. John Wick: 산티노는 도시를 모두 노리고 있어. 그가 시 외곽마저도 장악하면 14번가는 무사할 거 같나?.
● John Wick: 그리고 그는 그 도시를 원해. 그가 시 외곽을 접수할때면, 자네는 그가 14번가에서 멈출거라고 생각하는건가?
= And he wants the city. When he's done uptown, you think he's gonna stop at 14th Street?
